This can be random, workplace incident or pre employment. I do

At present, I am only operating via advance bookings, delivering drug testing services to Alice Springs and other parts of the Northern Territory as needed.
I am a certified drug tester with 10 + years’ experience in onsite testing. I have drug testing experience in the aviation, railways and mining industries. I also have experience in the corrections sector.
I offer complete confidentially.
I am a motivational speaker that speaks at workplaces through my coffee chats . (I even supply the refreshments) My talks are aimed at individuals to explore lifestyle options available to them when faced with alcohol or (other drug) use.
I also offer my services in a welfare capacity to employees who may have drug alcohol problems and need to speak with someone about changing their behaviour. After every motivational talk I give, I will leave my details in case an employee does wish to have a follow up discussion.
I can help your business establish or consult on an alcohol (other drug) policy if needed.

Employees do not know when a tester is coming to their workplace. If an employee is aware of an upcoming drug test and they are active drug users, there is the ability to think through possible cheat methods or even abstain for a few days before a test and be able to provide a negative test.
This is not possible when testing is surprised on them at their worksite. Testing instruments that I use add integrity to the testing process as they look at temperature of fluids and if adulterants are detected in the sample.
All you need to tell workers before hand is that your business does have safety regulations that deal with the use of alcohol and drugs while on duty. That random testing may be surprised on them without any notice.

Drug testing significantly contributes to workplace safety. When a person is under the influence of a substance, their mind, mood and coordination are altered. They may be less likely to concentrate, may make poor decisions, be lethargic, procrastinate, misjudge distances when operating machinery, contribute to lower productivity, be aggressive and be a risk of creating an injury to themselves or others, even causing a fatal incident. Besides why should your workplace pay an employee money when they are using work time to engage in drug use.
Most importantly, if an employee does have an attachment to drugs, they are very likely to behave dishonestly in the workplace. They can steal, engage in fraud or deceit to obtain their drug. You will be likely to catch this behaviour early with drug testing and possibly stop yourself from being a victim of crime.
Think of the disruption/cost/chaos to a business in the event of an alcohol/drug related accident. The calling of the ambulance, police involvement, work safety inspection investigation, possible legal action, possible workplace shutdown, workers absence, workers compo, long rehabilitation periods and insurance company involvement. I am sure most businesses don't want to deal with this.

Quitting Alcohol - Pros and Cons
Are you at a point in your life where you are starting to feel two ways about your alcohol consumption?
Perhaps you have experienced an unpleasant event while you were intoxicated, that would not have occurred if you were sober. Maybe you have a criminal conviction that has resulted from alcohol intoxication. Are you concerned about your liver? That it only processes one standard drink per hour while the excess alcohol floats around in your blood stream waiting to be processed. This may take many hours, even into the next day. If you damage your liver it can mean serious health complications. What about the money you spend on alcohol? Could you save this money and by the end of the year it would equal a few thousand?
The TV alcohol adds, with all the mates standing around a BBQ with their beer in hand enjoying themselves, did not show any of this. But now your mind is considering these matters, you are probably going to be in conflict with yourself about alcohol. You still want to experience the pleasant effects, but you are equally aware of the problems that result from drinking and you know they will get worse in severity.
But the thought of quitting leaves you a little anxious. You know most of your social circle centres around alcohol. Even if you are one who has a few drinks at home by yourself to relieve boredom, while watching sport on TV or giving yourself an artificial uplift in mood. Think about your holidays, staying at nice hotels with food/wine at your finger tips or with you visiting wineries as part of your vacation. Even if you are going to remote area to camp, you will still probably take it along with you. We are in a society where alcohol features heavily in our living.
But now as you weight up the good and bad, you think what is important to you. Is your family and their wellbeing important? keeping your job and the saving of money, improving your health, avoiding appearances in court and possible imprisonment. These contribute to our quality of life and are important to us while we live out our lives during the short time we have on this earth.
Quitting alcohol will often leave you feeling socially isolated and with substantial time on your hands while you fend of urges to drink. It can be an extremely uncomfortable period. But this can be managed. Once you have made the decision to quit, keep yourself busy, get a second job during evenings or weekends, getting serious with fitness, be a budding entrepreneur, fitness and money seem to help with feelings of achievement and satisfaction. But you can explore other hobbies such as prospecting, cooking and baking.
Good things will happen when you quit alcohol. Quality sleep, welcoming the morning, clear mind, eating better, less sugar entering your system, better hydration and having more money in your pocket. However, the best feeling of accomplishment will come after years of abstinence, that you are one of the few that can live in this world that is saturated with its drinking culture and be sober in the mist of it all.
Need some support in the early stages of giving up alcohol. Are you quitting cold turkey? You may find occasions a little hard to deal with especially if tunnel vision that's keeps you using is the only way forward, and you feel isolated going it alone. You may find occasions a little hard to deal with especially if tunnel vision that's keeps you using is the only way forward, and you feel isolated going it alone. I am available in person or by phone to help you deal with these occasions and hopefully get you through these difficult times as you quit alcohol.
I am not a magic fix to get out of an addiction. You will have to unwind the psychological/physical feelings you have towards alcohol, smoking, gambling or drugs.
Normally, leaving an addictive behaviour is not like turning a light switch off. You may be in for weeks or even months of roller-coaster emotions and challengers as you try to leave it all behind. Normally this happens after you have experienced a number of unpleasant consequences from the addictive behaviour and this starts to outweigh the pleasant feelings you get from drinking/drug use. At this point you should be experiencing conflict within yourself on whether drinking or drug taking is worth it anymore. You should only seek me out in the early stages after you have put your change into practice. Rates differ please contact me for pricing.
